I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree through Yorkville University and a Student Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. My journey to become a Registered Psychotherapist stems from my own challenges with mental health. I have experienced first-hand what it is like to be a client and recognize that a supportive therapeutic relationship can truly be the catalyst towards healing. With this, I am wholeheartedly committed to building a safe, supportive, and positive therapeutic relationship with you. I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support adults and youth who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, body image, self-worth, stress, burnout, life balance, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties. In addition, with training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International, I support individuals and couples navigating pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood. Through a safe and accepting space, I will walk alongside you to help you explore your inner world, difficult emotions, and experiences. I use a collaborative and client-centered approach that encourages you to strengthen your relationship with self and others while supporting you to feel empowered to create meaningful change and live an authentic life. Outside of my professional life, I am likely with my fiancé and our dog. Together we enjoy hiking and watching movies. I also enjoy exercising, reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
