The successful management of the household is on you. You don’t even bother to ask for help, if you don’t do it yourself it won’t get done, or it won’t meet your expectations. You are running yourself into the ground and everything feels overwhelming. You feel as though everything you do goes completely unnoticed. You’re doing your best, but still find yourself wondering if it’s enough. You’ve had the argument over and over, you ask for more help and it quickly goes back to how it has always been. You want to feel like yourself again. You want to feel in love and supported by your partner. You want the teamwork that you signed up for, the intimacy, the laughter, the love & connection. As humans, we are wired for connection and the feeling of distance between yourself and your partner can be traumatic and isolating.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, I work with individuals and couples to feel less stuck and more connected. I tell it like it is with a realistic approach to working through emotions, conflict and communication. Book a free, 15-minute, video consultation today to see if we’re a good fit. I’d love to answer all your questions!

If you are unsure of which therapist would be the best fit for you, it’s also my job to help you through the process! Be sure to reach out to me directly with any general questions

(she/her)

I am a graduate of Yorkville University’s Master of Counselling Psychology program. I strive toward establishing a safe space where collaboration with youth and their families can be explored throughout the treatment process. I currently provide therapy to youth with various concerns (eg. Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Self-Esteem, Self Harm, and Suicidal Ideation). I practice from a holistic approach. I utilize various evidence-based practices to encourage children, youth and families to develop skills focused on self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-development.

I hold an honours degree in Drama in Education and Community with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling. I am a Registered Member Qualifying of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

As an individual, I am an avid reader who enjoys spending most of my time devouring new books. When my nose is not stuck in a book, I can be found exercising, spending time with my family and taking my Yellow Labrador Retriever Roxanne for long walks. I believe a balanced lifestyle is key to ensuring I am my best self for my clients.

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 6 years of experience working with adults and seniors in a variety of acute and non-acute hospital settings. I have extensive experience working with individuals newly diagnosed or with long-standing cognitive impairment (Alzheimer’s and Dementia diagnoses), memory loss, and newly diagnosed health concerns (cancer diagnosis, palliative diagnosis). I am passionate about supporting families and caregivers struggling with caregiver burnout, depression, isolation, grief, and lack of support. I enjoy being a social worker because I have an opportunity to work alongside my clients on a variety of concerns impacting their well-being. It is an absolute privilege to support my clients as they navigate through the complexities of their physical and mental health journey. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc) from Wilfrid Laurier University and my Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto. I am trained in therapy modalities such as solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. I am currently in the process of completing my CBT certification. I am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). In addition, I speak and read in Russian. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time either reading a book, doing Pilates, trying out new recipes, or watching a movie.
