I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I also have an MBA from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, and am a Certified Professional Coach.
My journey to become a psychotherapist comes after a decade of working in the corporate world, where I encountered many challenging (and rewarding) life transitions and became well acquainted with the socially acceptable coping mechanisms of overachievement, people-pleasing, anxiety, and the sense of urgency that is inherent in the “hustle” culture predominant in today’s society.
As a highly sensitive person (HSP), I’m well acquainted with the emotional challenges that come from simply existing in the modern world as individuals and couples. It was through my own experience learning to navigate my own physical, emotional, and spiritual landscape through my own experience with psychotherapy, I decided to become a therapist herself to give back what I’ve has learned.
My specialties are helping others to accept and process their big feelings like anxiety, restlessness, self-worth, self-confidence, people-pleasing, depression, anger, and existential angst as they show up in
individuals and within relationships.
I use a non-pathologizing, person-centered, holistic approach
to therapy, using a unique blend of knowledge from my professional degrees and her personal experience of studying yoga, Buddhism, the law of attraction, and universal nonduality to truly meet clients exactly where they are.
I work with individuals and couples to feel less stuck and more connected. I tell it like it is with a realistic approach to working through emotions, conflict and communication. Book a free, 15-minute, video consultation today to see if we’re a good fit. I’d love to answer all your questions!
