Position Requirements

Fancy Therapy strives to offer affordable counselling options for people in Ontario. In an effort to do this, we currently are accepting student applications for practicum placements. Applicants should be:

A resident of Ontario
In a Master’s Program
Registered with a regulatory college
Passionate about helping people
Accountable, driven and have a positive attitude
Have a quiet, private space with high speed internet
Have a computer with webcam and headphones
Have an external supervisor
We currently do NOT offer supervision, you will need to arrange an external supervisor while Morgan Fancy is your Site Supervisor

We are looking for students who want to go the extra mile and prioritize their placement as an educational experience.

I personally enjoyed having the freedom to make my own schedule. I also found the monthly support meetings beneficial.

I really appreciate your business model of offering the Affordable Therapy Program. I feel that the clients that I have seen have benefited greatly from the therapy that I have given them, but would not have been able to afford it if it wasn’t for your program. I also was extremely impressed with the organization and efficiency of how you run your business, as well as the embracing of technology to serve clients. Lastly, I appreciate the autonomy that you gave me to serve my clients, but that you were always available so quickly to answer questions whenever I had a problem
