Helping students achieve their practicum hours since 2022. In this time, we have had over 50 successful student graduates!
Position Requirements
Fancy Therapy strives to offer affordable counselling options for people in Ontario. In an effort to do this, we currently are accepting student applications for practicum placements. Applicants should be:
A resident of Ontario
In a Master's Program
Registered with a regulatory college
Passionate about helping people
Accountable, driven and have a positive attitude
Have a quiet, private space with high speed internet
Have a computer with webcam and headphones
We are looking for students who want to go the extra mile and prioritize their placement as an educational experience.

On-Site Supervision
Meet Jillian, RP, PhD. (she/her)
Jillian works at Fancy Therapy as a clinical supervisor. She offers individual, dyadic, and group supervision. Jillian has a passion for life-long growth and learning. Having completed her Ph.D. with a research specialization in supervision and clinical development, Jillian explored the many life experiences that culminate to make us who we are as a whole person. Using evidence based models, Jillian works with her clients to harness their strengths, grow after challenges, and continue life’s journey in their preferred way. Jillian provides supervision and consultation services to organizations looking to improve their supervision process.

Meet Josh, RP, MDiv, RMFT. (he/him)
Josh works at Fancy Therapy as a clinical supervisor. He offers individual, dyadic, and group supervision. As an educator and supervisor, he creates a space to honour truth and seek reconciliation. His work involves creating a culture of belonging and a compassionate community. Through facilitating organizational safety, trust, transparency and cultural sensitivity, we help people shift their focus from “what’s wrong with you” to “what happened to you.”
Josh’s practice employs both cognitive and somatic therapies, some of which are CBT, EFT, Family Systems, IFS, Ego State, Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. He believes in integrative whole health and to find what works best for clients.
