Grief is a natural yet painful response to loss. When faced with a difficult loss, a wide range of emotions is to be expected. While grief is most often attributed to the death of a loved one, it can be experienced in response to a loss of any capacity including relationships, friendships, family dynamics, job loss, being diagnosed with an illess, and many more life transitions. In the face of grief, leaning on support systems and focusing on your needs can be extermely valuable.

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • Sadness feels heavy and hard to shake.

  • You feel alone even when surrounded by others.

  • Memories bring both comfort and pain, sometimes all at once.

  • Waves of emotion come and go at their own pace.

  • You’re uncertain of what the future holds or how you want it to look.

  • You’re seeking space to express your feelings in your own way.
