Community Involvement

At Fancy Therapy, we’re proud to provide compassionate mental health support in Kitchener-Waterloo and beyond. Our clinic offers a calm, welcoming space—both in-person and online—where neighbours can step away from the pressures of everyday life and focus on their emotional well-being.

As our practice grows, we stay committed to giving back and supporting local initiatives that align with our values. By partnering with organizations making a difference, we aim to strengthen our community and share the support we’ve received.

Affordable Therapy in Kitchener

We believe quality mental health care should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer a sliding scale model and an Affordable Therapy Program, providing low-cost sessions with skilled student therapists. These programs help remove financial barriers, making therapy accessible to more people in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Community Partnerships

We are honored to support Mamas for Mamas Kitchener, a national charitable organization that helps mothers and caregivers in crisis overcome poverty-related challenges. Through this partnership, we provide therapy sessions for clients in need. While their name is Mamas for Mamas, they welcome caregivers of any gender identity or expression. Their work in Kitchener-Waterloo and across Canada is truly inspiring.

At Fancy Therapy, giving back to our community is part of who we are. Whether through community therapy programs, affordable services, or local partnerships, we are dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being across the region.

As a psychotherapy practice based in Kitchener, Ontario, we acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg peoples. This land is part of the Haldimand Tract, which was promised to the Six Nations of the Grand River.

We recognize the longstanding relationships with the land that Indigenous peoples have maintained as its original caretakers. Our practice extends its services across Canada, and we acknowledge that our work spans many traditional Indigenous territories. We recognize that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario. As we operate in various locations, we commit to learning about and respecting the specific Indigenous communities in each area where we provide our services.
