Have you ever felt like you couldn’t forgive yourself, even after making things right? Shame is more than just guilt or regret.
I find that the phrase “Finding yourself” is often portrayed as some “dramatic journey” that involves quitting your job, travelling the world, or starting over completely. But in truth, I believe it to be much quieter and more personal.
Do you ever catch yourself stuck in a loop of self-doubt, wondering if you’re good enough, capable enough? Most of us have an inner critic that can be a little too loud at times- especially during times of stress, change or self-doubt.
Have you ever felt like you’re falling short or insecure in your relationships- either as a partner, friend, coworker or parent? This could be due to struggles with self-esteem!

As a psychotherapy practice based in Kitchener, Ontario, we acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg peoples. This land is part of the Haldimand Tract, which was promised to the Six Nations of the Grand River.
We recognize the longstanding relationships with the land that Indigenous peoples have maintained as its original caretakers. Our practice extends its services across Canada, and we acknowledge that our work spans many traditional Indigenous territories. We recognize that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario. As we operate in various locations, we commit to learning about and respecting the specific Indigenous communities in each area where we provide our services.
